Round Seven Snetterton

ABS Racing are back in action this weekend in the seventh round of the British 250 Championship at Snetterton.  There's lots to look forward to for Alex Symon with just a fifteen points gap to third in the championship and having entered his -JOKER- for this race.  For people who do not know this means that any points scored by Alex this weekend will be doubled!

On Saturday there is practice and two mixed class races for Alex, unfortunately combined with the Formula 600s but is bound to give important time to setup the bike.  Sunday is the real day of excitement with the British 250 race to look forward to.  The full timetable can be viewed by clicking here and keep checking absracing.co.uk  for the latest news on Alex's progress.

The morning started well with Alex Symon qualifying as the second 250 in the club practice, with a time of 1:14.75, however the weekend ended in disaster.

Alex came off at the very beginning of the first race due to the tyres not being up to temperature.  He was taken to hospital nearby but fortunately was discharged later in the day.

ABS Racing took no further part in the weekend and can now start to look forward to the next and final race of the season at Cadwell Park on the 22nd and 23rd of September.

We wish Alex a speedy recovery to full fitness!
